Abstract

Access to this area has been hampered in resent times by the existence of the Francis Creek Iron ore operation as the only practical route currently is through this mine site. This route has been used by members of the Casey Family since the early 1960's. Work over the last twelve months by G.E.Casey has been directed toward the finalisation of an agreement which is intended to see the installation of a treatment plant and re-opening of the mine. An agreement has been signed but is as yet, not completed. It is expected that there may be a need to perform some maintenance work on the boundaries of this tenement after the approaching Wet Season. ML 24269 has been surveyed.
