GR364 EL 30040, EL 30205 Kurundi Joint Annual Technical Report for the period 17 July 2014 to 16 July 2015

Abstract

Exploration Licences 30040 & 30205 are held by the 'Kurundi Group' over the historic Kurundi goldfield area. EL 30040 was granted on 24/4/14, EL30205 was granted on 17/7/14. Exploration for the reporting period had focussed on the southeastern portion of the Kurindi Dome in EL 30040 around gold and base metal occurrences at the Six Holes, Three Holes, One Hole, Ray's Find, Andy's Find and Kevin's Find prospects. 38 line kilometres of ground magnetics were completed. 444 soil geochemical samples were collected by hand-held XRF (pXRF). Field mapping and petrological investigations were conducted over the prospects and their surrounds. Consulting reports describing the results of each programme were completed. A lead anomaly was found to the east of Six Holes. However, in contrast the results around an outcropping lead gossan at Rays Find were very low. Magnetics data showed a series of northwest trending narrow, linear bodies.
