Abstract: | EME has remained focused on exploration within its 100 percent owned Ngalia tenements despite the poor market conditions and downturn in the uranium sector. Exploration for the reporting period 9 April 2014 to 8 April 2015 was largely directed at regional geophysical data acquisition. This data was incorporated and stitched into regional data sets to produce new regional merged imagery across the Ngalia Basin and surrounding basement rocks of the Arunta Block. Imagery was produced from radiometric, magnetic and DEM data. The main focus on EL 30006 was to confirm the presence of the Yuendumu Thrust Zone and trace the Yuendumu Thrust Fault and related structures; this zone is considered prospective for uranium mineralisation within basal Mount Eclipse Sandstone in which Bigrlyi and Camel Flat style uranium deposits are the targets. Due to budgetary constraints no investigations on the ground were carried out during the reporting period. |
