L 27821 'Gidyea' contains geology from the southern margin of the Warramunga Province and the north eastern margin of the Davenport Province, the contact between these strikes NE-SW through the tenement. Georgina Basin sediments onlap the Palaeoproterozoic basement in the northernmost part of the tenement, with possible sightings in areas to the south. Historic work in the area suggests it is highly prospective for gold associated with ferruginous siltstones, and intrusive-related quartz veining and copper-cobalt within a mafic intrusive. There is also a potential for surficial iron enrichment. The main focus of historical exploration has been the Gidyea copper-cobalt-gold prospect. There has been much confusion as to whether the Gidyea Cu-Au-Co Prospect refers to the area in the Gidyea Gabbro where EG-DDH001 was drilled. It would appear that drilling the Gidyea Gabbro was based on interpreting the magnetic anomaly as a Tennant Creek-style ironstone, despite immediate outcrops of gabbro. Therefore, the precise location of initial sampling of the siltstone outcrop (i.e. the original Gidyea 'Gold Prospect'), which produced the highly anomalous gold result is poorly constrained. Further samples were collected as recently as 2002 by Tennant Creek Gold Limited however there was no record of location or rock type. Anomalous results of two of these samples suggest that the anomalous gold and the copper-cobalt are associated with different rock units (Green 2012). In the first year of tenure, a single trip was made to EL 27821 for a regional scale stream sediment sampling (SSED) program to be completed along with follow up rock chip sampling at the Gidyea Prospect and traverses across the main unconformity to locate possible further prospects. 26 rock chip samples and 93 SSED samples and 7 bulk stream samples were taken between 14/07/13 and 19/07/2013. Particular focus was aimed at rock sample coverage of the Gidyea Gabbro to determine base metal segregation within the body and follow up sampling of the iron-rich, clastic vein-quartz with haematite/goethite cement outcrop, mentioned in previous reports. Follow up rock chip sampling took place from 15/9 and 16/9 2013, with focus on an area south of Canteen Creek and extending sampling around the Gidyea Prospect. All samples have been submitted to the Genalysis Intertek facility in Alice Springs for assay and results have been returned. In August 2014, an airborne survey covering the entire tenement of EL 27821 was completed by Thomson Aviation, and qualified magnetic and radiometric survey data was delivered to AMR, AMR completed the further geophysical interpretation of these data and produced 3D modelling of anomalies in the following year. There was no site disturbance exploration since then. Although there're potential targets for further exploration based on the interpretation and analysis of the available data obtained from previous exploration, after comprehensive assessment by the geologist and analysis of the future market of resource industry, plus the influence by COVID-19 and the company's strategy change, Autec Food Group (AMR) decided to surrender the tenement by not renew further.
