Abstract: The Narwietooma One Project is located approximately 155km north west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. EL 31783 is just north of the Kintore Road off the Tanami Road out of Alice Springs. The Exploration Licence is part of the Arunta Region known as the Aileron Province and is underlain by the Palaeoproterozoic Strangways Metamorphic Complex (Felsic/mafic gneiss, metavolcanics, metapelites) intruded by mafic Intrusives and overlain by Palaeoproterozoic the Narwietooma Metamorphic Complex. Most of the region is overlain by Tertiary and Quaternary sediments. The region is thought to be prospective for several minerals including Gold, Copper, Iron Oxide, Rare Earth Elements and Uranium. The Narwietooma One project area has been the centre of several exploration programmes since the early 1970s through to current. Uranium, gold and Rare Earth Elements have been explored for. Exploration activities conducted by Scriven Exploration during the first year of tenure included a literature review and a surface sample survey combined with planning. Some 314 surface samples were taken with three results above background. During the second year of tenure a field inspection was completed with no significant findings. EL 31783 was partially relinquished on the 9th September 2019. EL 31783 was surrendered on the 16th September 2020.
