Abstract: EL 27709 'Paddys Plain' is located approximately 75km east-northeast of Alice Springs. Access is by the Arltunga Road from the Stuart Highway via The Garden homestead. Access within the area is by means of station tracks (Figure 1.1). Core has assessed the prospectivity of EL 27709 for sedimentary hosted Pb-Zn-Ag within the Amadeus Basin sediments which are extensively mapped within EL 27709. Core is encouraged by the tenements potential to host Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization with similar characteristics to Core Exploration's Inkheart Prospect discovery on EL 28136. The Inkheart Prospect is a Pb-Zn-Ag within a quartz plus-minus carbonate veining system within Bitter Springs Formation (BSF) sediments. Core believes that the veining is associated with either a specific permeable lithological unit or with discrete structural zones within the BSF. Core's investigation of the potential for Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization within EL 27709 has identified a number of prospective mapping targets. Core will use these targets as a starting point for mapping and surface geochemical surveys over the mapped BSF outcrops on EL 27709 in the first year of the grouped reporting GR361 Albarta South.
