Annual Report for the period 9 June 2013 to 8 June 2014 EL 385 Walker River

Abstract

This report documents work undertaken by Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Limited (RTX) on Exploration Licence 385 during the tenure year to 8 June 2014. RTX's activities during the tenure period were limited to farm-out negotiations and engagement with traditional owner representative body the Northern Land Council (NLC). No field activities were completed on EL 385. By an agreement dated 23 January 2014, RTX farmed-out EL 385 and surrounding lead-zinc-silver prospective tenements to DPG Resources Ltd (DPG) who are to become operator of the project. A forward work programme comprising helicopter-supported geochemical sampling was submitted to the NLC and on-country meeting with traditional landowners has been set for 10 July 2014 to gain approval to commence field work. Field work for the upcoming tenure year is anticipated to be: Stream sediment sampling; Geological reconnaissance, including mapping and outcrop sampling; Soil sampling; Ground geophysical surveys; Heritage surveys and traditional owner engagement
