Abstract: Pandanus West EL 24565 was granted to UXA Resources Limited on 18 May 2010. EL 24565 is located within the Murphy uranium province in the Northern Territory, at the boundary between the Palaeoproterozoic Murphy Inlier and overlying Mesoproterozoic McArthur Basin. The area is characterised by widespread Cainozoic cover and encompasses the buried western extension of the Murphy Ridge. This region is considered prospective for Westmoreland-style or unconformity related uranium deposits. No exploration activities were undertaken during the current reporting period. UXA was placed into administration in July 2013 and during the period from July 2013 to 17 May 2014 has been subject to corporate and financial re-structuring. The Company is expected to recommence exploration activities in mid-2014. Proposed exploration efforts will be focussing on the potential for uranium deposits buried beneath Cainozoic cover and Seigal Volcanics using methods adapted to suit this style of mineralisation.
