Abstract

ML 23839 (the licence) is located approximately 20km north of Pine Creek and has an area of 364.7 hectares. The area is situated within the Pine Creek Orogen, which is highly prospective for gold mineralisation. The area has long been a target for exploration and Ark Mines Ltd (Ark) believe they can successfully and economically develop the gold resource. Nil field work was completed on the licence during the reporting period, however desktop studies were conducted and Ark will continue to prepare for the commercial exploitation of the gold resource.
