Revised stratigraphy of drillhole BL002, northeastern Amadeus Basin, Northern Territory

Abstract

A revised stratigraphy is presented for drillhole BL002, located on the northeastern margin of the Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory. The revisions include newly defined boundaries and updates of the Neoproterozoic stratigraphic nomenclature to align with the recently amended stratigraphy of the Amadeus Basin. In descending order, drillhole BL002 now includes a fault zone, a palaeoweathering zone, and the Gillen Formation of the Bitter Springs Group.
