Final Relinquishment Report for Benmara EL 30668

Abstract

This Final Technical Report for the Benmara tenement EL 30668 covers work carried out during the full period that the tenement was held - 11 August 2015 to 9 July 2019. Exploration activities during the life of the tenement have involved: Collecting, collating, extensive digitising and compiling all previous historic data of all available open file reports and data; Historical data review; Reprocessing and interpretation of previous geophysics data; Identification of empirical and conceptual targets; Liaison with landholders; Geochemical sampling program over targets generated (soils and stream sediments); Specific Target definition. The assessment of historic data and surface geochemical survey work completed by Cedar on the project to date has identified a number of high priority base metal and gold geochemical anomalies that require ground EM or shallow drilling to assist in delineating deeper drill targets. The tenement was relinquished after a sustained period of time attempting to list (ASX or NSX) as part of a project covering a strip of tenure stretching between the Nicholson Land Claim and Coanjula ('Fish River Fault Project'). Unfortunately, the market conditions for base metals have deteriorated in the last 12 months, and Cedar was unable to complete a listing, or attract sufficient investment to undertake the large program of geophysics and drilling that is required.
