Abstract

Exploration activities conducted during the reporting period included bulk sampling and rehabilitation of the Golden Dyke waste dump, the continued follow-up of the 2011 VTEM geophysical survey and interpretation, historic geophysical interpretation, field mapping and sampling, purchase of new satellite imagery and reconnaissance field visits. Limited field surface geochemical sampling was also conducted during the year. This work covers several greenfield and brownfield targets. During the next reporting period exploration activities will be limited when compared to the last few years as Crocodile Gold concentrates on activities around producing mines and mines close to production. The current gold market has a high level of uncertainty and if that were to improve then more funds would be available for regional work. However, during 2014 Crocodile Gold is engaged in the continuation of rehabilitation of the Golden Dyke waste dump. Crocodile Gold entered into a new joint venture agreement with Rockland Resources as Thunderalra Exploration exited Uranium Exploration activities in the Northern Territory. Crocodile Gold will work closely with Rocklands as they being the review of previous Thundelarra work in and around this group of titles.
