Annual Report for MLN 546 from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013

Abstract

MLN 546 was bought by Australia New Zealand Resources Corporation Pty Ltd. (The tenement was formerly purchased by Softwood Plantations Pty Ltd) as part of a group of mining tenements from the receivers of Territory Resources Ltd in 1994. MLN 546 was reapplied for in 2001 and granted on 25th February, 2003 for a term of twenty years expiring on 31st December, 2021. This mineral lease covers an area of 14 hectares. MLN 546 contains the process plant site and accommodation which is envisaged to be used as part of the adjacent Mt Wells tin and copper mining project that is presently being assessed for commercial feasibility by Outback Metals Ltd. Exploration work on the Mt Wells project is proceeding, with Niton XRF surveys carried out recently showing extensions of the Mt Wells ore systems. Only limited further work is planned on MLN 546 until the process plant etc is required for the treatment of tin & copper ore from Mt Wells.
