Abstract: EL 31947 was granted to Crossland Nickel Pty Ltd (Crossland) on 29 January 2019 for a period of 6 years. The granted licence originally consisted of 58 blocks or 172.75 km2. Just prior to the first anniversary date of the licence in late January 2020, Crossland informed DPIR that it was relinquishing 38 sub-blocks from the subject licence. The number of blocks to be retained is 20. The relinquishment will coincide with the tenement's anniversary date. The reduction is in line with Crossland's desire to reduce its landholdings and concentrate on the areas where the most promising resource of Rare Earth Elements (REE) are known to occur. There were no on-ground exploration activities carried out within the relinquished area.
