dc.description.abstractEL 30387 is part of AIR's GR274 Exploration Leases. Prior to Partial Surrender it comprised of 217 sub-blocks. On 11 September 2019, 50 sub-blocks were surrendered. EL 30387 now comprises of 167 sub-blocks. AIR conducted preliminary exploration of this lease including general reconnaissance by vehicle and helicopter flyover, as well as the collection of 16 grab samples from the surrendered areas. These 16 samples were sent for multi-element analysis and returned disappointing results. Desk top studies, reconnaissance and analysis of these samples factored into the decision to surrender some of the lease.
