Abstract

No significant fieldwork was carried out on these tenements during the current reporting period because the parent company that provides the funding has focused its attention on its ilmenite plant. Australian Manganese Resources (AMR) as for its parent company Australian Ilmenite Resources (AIR) is well funded by Chinese investors. However release of exploration funds to date has been limited being linked to the permitting and approvals process for the ilmenite plant and mining operation on the AIR Roper Heavy Minerals Project. However that plant has not succeeded yet to the stage of creating sufficient cashflow to sustain all its exploration commitments including these tenements of AMR. Consequently work on these tenements has had to be effectively deferred and limited to office studies and planning.
