Abstract

This year's activities have shifted from delineating base metal mineralization to diamond mineralization and exploration activities due to the result of NRE's analysis and interpretation of its desktop activities. Natural Resources Exploration (NRE) has carried out extensive office-based studies of EL 28320 and in particular a historic review of previous exploration over the tenure area with a focus on diamond mineralization or indicator minerals. NRE also revisited the results it obtained from its XRF and ALS analysis of cuttings from previously drilled water bores in the region with its focus being on attempting to identify diamond indicator minerals. Our office-based studies have allowed us to delineate prospective areas for the collation of further geophysical data within the permit area over diamond exploration targets.
