EL 24196 Bowgan Project Ninth Annual Report for the period 7 December 2012 to 6 December 2013

Abstract

The Bowgan project is located in the Barkly Tablelands region of Northern Territory, approximately 250 km northeast of the regional centre of Tennant Creek. The project consists of four licences in total; EL 24196 (Creswell Downs), as well as three contiguous exploration licences; EL 24115 (Bowgan), EL 24195 (Benmara) and EL 29802 (Benmara East) located approximately 100 km further east and reported on separately. Exploration at the Bowgan project is currently targeting the potential occurrence of economic uranium, gold and base-metal mineralisation. The following exploration work was completed on EL 24196 (Creswell Downs) during the current reporting period included completion of; a field reconnaissance visit, analysis of 16 soil samples, detailed interpretation of 2010 biogeochemical (vegetation) assay data and preparation of a formal research paper for the 2013 AusIMM Uranium Conference in Darwin during June 2013. Interpretation of assay results from Mitchell grass sampling programs was completed via IOgas software for two target areas on EL 24196. Significant anomalies were identified at one target area, with follow-up exploration being proposed.
