Abstract

ABM explores the Euro project for the potential of gold mineralisation. ABM applied for the tenements in the first place as they are located adjacent to highly prospective ground and may have the potential to cover repeats or extensions of some of the neighboring prospects. Exploration in the first 8 month of tenure consisted of regional desktop studies, including geophysical and geological interpretations which resulted in the prioritisation of field assessment targets and of further desktop study targets. Of the five on ground assessment targets high priority was assigned to EL 26590 as it is situated immediately south of the Newmont's significant Oberon Deposit and EL 26615 as it has the potential to host an eastward extension of the Newmont held 'East Ptilotus' prospect and a northward extension of the 'Ptilotus prospect' In January 2013 a work program for EL 26590 and EL 26591 named the 'Dune' Sub-project as well as an application for a Sacred Site Clearance Certificate was submitted to the Central Land Council (CLC). ABM received the response regarding the Euro project from the CLC including the 'Dune' Sub-project after the reporting period at the 16th of August 2013. The planning of 'Dune' Sub-project work included a first step reconnaissance mapping and minor rock/lag sampling program, followed by regional systematic geochemical surface sampling programs targeting magnetic features. Pending on the results of the surface sampling possible ground magnetic surveys and a follow up drill program would be designed. No on ground was conducted during the reporting period.
