Kurundi Project Final Surrender Report for the period 19 June 2003 to 29 November 2012, EL 23937

Abstract

The EL 23937 is being submitted for surrender by Northern Minerals for the purposes of amalgamating the license with EL 29616. The tenement is approximately 80 kilometers to the south east of Tennant Creek, 100 kilometers to the south east of Three Ways and 135 kilometers to the south west of Berkley Station. Access to EL 23937 is via the unsealed Wauchope- Epenarra road which passes in an easterly direction along the bottom portion of the tenement. A planned sampling and geological mapping program was planned to be undertaken during November 2011 covering a radiometric anomaly sharing similar characteristics to the Mundagee Mine area. The anomaly is located approximately 2.5km south of Munadgee. Immediately prior to arrival of the Northern Minerals personnel, heavy rainfall fell in the Tennent Creek district on the 21 November preventing access past the Kurundi Station homestead. The project has been determined to be prospective for a range of polymetallic mineralisation styles. More recently the gold potential of the project area has been recognised as a valid target warranting further investigation. The tenement is being surrendered for the purpose of amalgamation with EL 29616.
