Abstract: The Caranbirini Zn-Pb-Ag prospect is located west of the Emu Fault ~20 km north of the major McArthur River (Here's Your Chance [HYC]) Zn-Pb-Ag sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX) deposit. Discovered during the late 1970s, base metal mineralisation has been identified within the Colley Dolostone Member breccia, coeval with the prospective Barney Creek Formation. Drilling has targeted additional mineralisation in the Barney Creek Formation, however, thus far no significant McArthur-type SEDEX mineralisation has been discovered within the Barney Creek Formation at Caranbirini. During the 2019 reporting period no work was completed. On 18 November 2019 the Department of Primary Industry and Resources accepted Marindi Metals Limited application for the surrender of all tenements that comprise the Caranbirini Project. This report provides a brief description of activities completed during the life of the tenements which includes, soil sampling, VTEM survey, gravity survey, 3D modeling and diamond drilling.
