L 25430 was part of Barfuss Corporations Harts Range Project. The project comprises of ELs 32046 and 32195 (Application). Existing Mineral Claims are also considered part of the project. Underlying geology throughout most of the project area consists of high-grade metamorphic rocks of the Arunta Block, including the Harts Range Group (Part of the Late Proterozoic to Cambrian Irindina Province), with older Aileron Province rocks in the east (Entia Dome) and west (Strangways Metamorphic Complex, including younger deformation in the Gough dam Schist Zone). Activity in the field to date has included extensive rock-chip sampling, reconnaissance mapping, general prospecting and a detailed geophysical ground spectrometer survey in a number of areas. Airborne geophysical surveying is being considered as an optimal tool for the Project area as well as selective Diamond Core Drilling with the company's own track-mounted rig. Possible extension into EL 25430 from the extensive 'Copper Queen' group of copper-gold prospects previously investigated by Tanami Gold NL. Significant interest has been shown by the Germany based Merck Group in the muscovite deposits in the license areas. Merck representatives have visited the project and sampled several areas for analysis, with a number of follow-up bulk samples sent to them on request for further analysis. However nothing more has developed. Prospectivity for many other minerals is indicated by the Harts Range Ruby Mine and a near-by vermiculite prospect for example; and the extensive recent exploration for, and discovery of, copper-cobalt and nickel/copper mineralisation in the region, by Mithril Resources Limited. Activities during the reporting period include on-going prospecting of pegmatite dykes for specific types of muscovite, which is of interest to Merck Group. Plus further prospecting for vermiculite deposits and regional prospecting for various gem deposits. Many indications have been found however none of an economical quality at this stage. With the results of the exploration and interest from various parties in the mineral deposits in EL 25430, it has been determined that our other ELs 32046 and 32195 (Application) are more viable for further exploration, development and mining. Hence we have decided not to renew EL 25430 and focus on our other prospects.
