EL 24253 Neutral Junction Project Eighth Annual Report for the period 7 April 2012 to 6 April 2013

Abstract

Bowgan Minerals Limited is currently exploring for economic occurrences of gold and other elements within an IOCG deposit setting and for uranium within an unconformity-related deposit setting. Exploration work completed by BML during the 2012-13 reporting period included; collection of 421 soil and 40 rock chip samples, submission of 53 selected soil samples and 4 rock chips for analysis by ALS Chemex, completion of preliminary assay of remaining soils using a Niton XRF, completion of geological (outcrop), regolith and flora mapping, interpretation of analytical results and collation of mapping (outcrop, regolith and flora) datasets. Literature reviews were conducted for geology in the Neutral Junction-Home of Bullion-Adnera Hill areas. As a result of exploration field work completed during this reporting period a similarity to other IOCG deposits within the Arunta Block is currently postulated, with similarities being identified between Adnera Hill targets with respective gold and copper deposit at Tennant Creek, as well as more locally at Home of Bullion and Johnnies Reward. Field mapping and sampling programs, interpretation of results and mapping data will continue into the next reporting period, with the aim of designing a first-pass program of drill testing of targets at the Adnera Hill prospect. BML intends to explore for gold and other metals in association with ironstone at the NJR002 target and in association with ironstone and skarn at the NJR004 target. Geophysical surveying, geological mapping and geochemical sampling are also proposed at other target areas.
