Annual Report for ML 27438 Lethbridge South for period 12 May 2013 to 11 May 2014

Abstract

In the reporting year the primary focus of the company has been on the sale and removal of plant and buildings related to the mine closure plan. The sale was delayed due to the general difficulty of the purchasing party in raising finance however the sale was concluded on the 30 June 2014 with the receipt of a payment. Plans are currently being finalised for the removal of all plant and buildings in the period August to December 2014. It is anticipated the ML will have all equipment and plant removed by the 2014-2015 wet season. During the period 12 May 2013 to 25 May 20313 the mine campsite was occupied by the site manager and an assistant. Their responsibilities were to ensure the security and safety of the site as well as monitoring the rehabilitation of the mine site on a daily basis. The mine is exhausted and no exploration is relevant. All activity for the next 12 month period is focussed on progressing rehabilitation.
