L 28203 is located about 220 km SE of Darwin and about 25 km NE of Pine Creek in the Northern Territory. EL 28203 was applied for on 03 August 2010 and was granted on 25 February 2011 to Element 92 Pty Ltd, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Thundelarra Exploration Ltd. The tenement was granted for a period of 3 years and will expire on 24 February 2014. It has only 2 blocks and covers about 6.68 Km2. The project area is located in the central part of the Pine Creek Orogen (PCO), a folded sequence of Palaeoproterozoic pelitic and psammitic sediments, with interlayered cherty tuff units. These rocks have been intruded by the late-orogenic Palaeoproterozoic granites, causing wide spread contact/thermal aureole metamorphism. Geology of EL 28203 is dominated by the folded rocks of Namoona Group, Mount Partridge Group and intruded by the Allamber Springs Granite which was emplaced during 1820 - 1850 Ma. The Namoona Group is represented by the Masson formation which contains predominantly greywacke, carbonaceous shale, sandstone and beds of dolomite with minor quartzite, massive ironstone and rare tremolite marble. The Mundogie Sandstone represents the Mount Partridge Group and mainly composed of coarse pebbly sandstone with lenses of conglomerate and shale. The Zamu Dolerite is folded within meta-sedimentary sequence. During the reporting period, appraisal of historical exploration and geological data were undertaken. Interpretation of previously flown radiometric and magnetic data was also conducted. This review identified several radiometric and magnetic anomalies which point towards gold, base metals and uranium potential of the project area. In the next reporting period, company will undertake a program of soil/rock chip sampling program together with ground radiometric survey. Samples collected will be assayed for multi-elements. Available geophysical and geochemical data will be interpreted further to identify exploration targets, which will be subjected to drill-testing in the following exploration period.en_US
