GR140 Abner Project Combined Annual Report for the period 3 August 2014 to 2 August 2015

Abstract

No field exploration activities were undertaken during the reporting period. However, in-house detailed assessment of prospectivity of the project was completed. The review of all HMA samples results from EL 26397 suggests that some of the recovered chromite grains are unlikely to be sourced from the known Abner pipe. These chromite grains belong to the recently processed loam samples collected in 2011. Positive results, however, are sparsely distributed over a large area and there is no clear trend emerged thus far that point to the definitive source area. This requires further processing of the remaining samples collected in 2011 to fill wide spatial gaps between the processed samples.
