EL 26397 Abner Project Annual report for the period 3 August 2015 to 25 March 2016

Abstract

This report outlined exploration activities conducted over EL26397 between 3 August 2015 and 25 March 2016. EL 26397 is a part of Abner Project and was accepted for group reporting (GR140/09). With the cessation of all other member exploration licences in the GR140, amalgamated reporting for EL 26397 was revoked on 18 December 2015. No field exploration activities were undertaken during the reporting period. However, all retained unprocessed diamond exploration samples collected from the EL 26397 that were kept at the company's Wangara Laboratory in Perth were transferred temporarily to the local storage facility. This is due to the permanent closure of the laboratory. These retained samples are expected to be shipped to the Merlin Mine for further work. Consequently, proposed analysis of a selection of left over unprocessed loam samples collected in 2011-2012 was not completed. Legend intends to complete this work. It is anticipated that acquired analytical results will help to fill wide spatial gaps that exist between the data points. Likewise, derived distribution of positive results from this work and available historical data within the tenement may display a clear trend that point to the definitive source of diamond indicator minerals.
