dc.description.abstractThe Pacoota Sandstone is a locally prolific hydrocarbon reservoir in the north-central Amadeus Basin. The formation is known to reservoir commercial accumulation of oil and gas at the Mereenie Field, commercial accumulations of gas at the Palm Valley Field, sub-commercial accumulations of gas at West Walker 1 well, and non-commercial accumulations of hydrocarbons at a number of locations elsewhere.en_US
