Annual Report Kovacs Mineral Lease MLC 647 for the period 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2011

Abstract

The Kovacs Project consists of a single 8Ha Mineral Lease, MLN 647, south of the main Tennant Creek goldfields, on which there are historical workings with an unknown history of past production. The lease was originally granted in 1970 and now lies wholly within an Exploration Lease Application (ELA 25582) which is in veto until 13 August 2013. WDR Gold Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Desert Resources Ltd, is earning interest in MLC 647 as part of the East Rover Joint Venture with TNG Ltd. There has been no activity on the lease due to uncertainty with land access and the precise location of the lease. WDR will be meeting with the CLC to present work programs for its other activities in the region, at which time MLC 647 will be discussed. WDR will also arrange for accurate differential GPS pick-ups of the lease boundary pegs.
