The second year of tenure was an active exploration year, following up on results from Year 1 (assaying from drilling; further stream sediment sampling) to follow up on previously identified anomalies. Logging (geological and HyLogging) of MDD001 indicated that there are fault zones of graphite, with alteration zones characterised by hornfelsing of sediments, accompanied by a change in the white mica composition and chlorite along fractures. Anomalous Au results were associated with quartz veining. The cause of the EM anomaly was not fully explained by the small graphitic fault zone, so another hole is planned, which will be partly funded by the NTGS Collaborations drilling programme. Response ratios will be calculated from the results of the soil sampling over the Wooliana Gabbro, to determine if there are any anomalous results requiring follow-up. There are also further rock chip sampling anomalies that need further work to determine the source of anomalism.en_US
