Abstract: | Work completed concentrated on a number of geophysical-geochemical anomalies which had been previously identified. This work included geological mapping, rock chip and lag sampling, gravity surveys, ground magnetic surveys, RAB and diamond drilling, petrology and trenching. The results obtained indicate that the anomaly at Vendetta 1 is contained within narrow quartz veins contained a small raft of sediment above a granite intrusion. Weak mineralization was encountered at Anomaly 16. Diamond drilling at Aslan and Narnia (East Ptilotus) showed that mineralization at Aslan is associated with late stage veining. At Narnia one hole encountered visible gold though in general assays <3g-t. |
