EL 8883 Bluebush Final report 20 March 2001 to 19 March 2011

Abstract

This Final Report records exploration work done on EL 8883 between 20 March 2001 and 19 March 2011. Although exploration activities had limited success within the licence area during the life of the licence, most recent work using the VRMI technology that identified the Red Bluff Area and the follow-up drill testing of these targets including Ella and Smokey were significant intersections of ironstone packages with potential to host mineralisation were located highlights the prospectivity of the licence area. This success has large implications for exploration within the Tennant Creek Field and other areas of EL 8883, therefore encouraging Emmerson to include the area covered by EL 8883 in its SEL Applications 28601 and 28602. The licence area now forms part of SEL Application 28602.
