EL 30040 Final relinquishment report to 25 October 2018

Abstract

EL 30040 hosts part of the historic Kurundi goldfield and is located in the Davenport Province, located in the central part of the Northern Territory. EL30040 was granted on 24 April 2014. Nil exploration activity has occurred on the entire EL during the reporting period and there is nothing to report on the relinquished blocks. The blocks were relinquished as a result of a review by the titleholders of the likelihood of undertaking further exploration on all 28 blocks. The titleholders elected to retain a smaller number of blocks in order to reduce costs and reporting requirements and focus future activity on the retained portion of the EL. The titleholders incurred a Partial Cancellation Penalty and the blocks noted in this report were surrendered.
