The AusAEM Year 1 NT/QLD Airborne Electromagnetic Survey covers the Newcastle Waters and Alice Springs 1:1 Million map sheets in the Northern Territory, plus the Normanton and Cloncurry 1:1 Million map sheets in Queensland. The survey was flown at 20 kilometre line spacing and entails approximately 67,700 line kilometres of data.en_US
Flight paths were planned to intersect geological points of interest based on a ranking method which includes outcrops, boreholes, locations with mineral occurrences and over places with known kimberlite and meteorite impacts.en_US
Phase 1 data release package contains the operations and processing reports, final processed electromagnetic, magnetic and elevation point located line data, final processed electromagnetic, magnetic and elevation grids, conductivity estimates generated by the EM Flow(R) conductivity depth imaging algorithm, graphical multiplots of line data and EM Flow(R) conductivity sections, graphical stacked EM Flow(R) conductivity sections, and ESRI shapefiles containing the flight line locations.en_US
