dc.description.abstractDuring the fourth year of tenure, 28 one litre brine samples and five 500ml duplicate samples were collected from eight salt lakes within the tenement and fourteen AC holes were drilled for 318m with seven salt water samples taken for analysis. Results for these have not yet been received. Two archaeological surveys were also completed. Exploration is targeting potassium, magnesium and sulphate salts within salt water brine in salt lakes within the tenement to eventually produce potassium sulphate (SOP) and potassium magnesium sulphate (Schoenite) fertiliser which will be produced from solar evaporation ponds.en_US
