Abstract

MLN 1138 was granted to Softwood Plantations Pty Ltd on 1 July 1971 and will expire on 30 June 2016. The tenement forms part of the Maranboy Tin Field leases. Considerable delays were experienced in transferring the title from former holder Denehurst Limited to Softwood Plantations Pty Ltd. Only minor work has been carried out on the area of the tenement in the reporting period. Work included digitising data for the group of leases at the Maranboy Tin Field. Outback Metals Ltd has prioritised work on the Mt Wells Tin/Copper deposit, with a view of moving the proposed process plant to Maranboy on the completion of mining at Mt Wells.
