In 2014 CKA Resources continued to develop it's diamond and IOCG exploration models which continued to return encouraging results. To manage tenure costs the following tenements were surrendered during the period; EL 29444, EL 27717, EL 27719, EL 27719, EL 27714, EL 27715, EL 27716, EL 27720. CKA submitted an application for, and was granted, Collaboration funding to complete diamond hole CKAF001 which was partially drilled to 441m in 2013. The hole is designed to test residual gravity anomaly F (an IOCG residual gravity target beneath the Georgina basin sediments) within EL 27526. Drilled core from CKAF001 was logged and 13 samples were taken with results returning geochemically anomalous gold, molybdenum, lead, uranium possibly indicating proximity to basement or basement tapping mineralised structures. Project wide analysis continued including further work with independent geophysicist Duncan Cowan based on his 2013 review of the project (consultant geophysicist/geologist; Cowan Geodata Services) and consulting geologist Hadyn Butler of Sudbury Ontario, Canada. Work continued on CKAD001 following up on the 2013 G9 pyrope results. Probe analysis of a kimberlitic pyrope identified in 2013 from samples taken close to and below the extrusive breccia was completed with results returning a G10 classification. Subsequently a 30kg selection of half core from 580m to 602m (immediately above the extrusive breccia) was taken and submitted to Merlin Diamond Laboratory. The sample was analysed for diamond and indicator minerals using caustic fusion process. No diamonds were identified, but 10 - 20 very fine chromites were identified further supporting evidence that the hole has intersected the margin of a kimberlite pipe. The presence of G10/G9 pyropes within CKAD0001 not only indicate the presence of a kimberlite but also, much more significantly, the presence of a Diamond Stability Field within the Ooratippra project. This diamond stability field has been tapped by kimberlitic structures which have brought these minerals to surface. Exploration for 2015 will primarily focus on the renewed diamond potential of the project. Kimberlite target selection based on geophysical data, satellite imagery, historical re-sampling with detailed geological considerations is ongoing. Exploration models for both pre-Georgina basin kimberlites and post/syn Georgina basin kimberlites are being developed with on ground testing planned for 2015.en_US
