Final surrender report EL 30838 Harts Range West 11 February 2016 to 26 April 2018

Abstract

Pinnacle Exploration Pty Ltd was granted EL 30838 on 11 February 2016 for the purpose of exploration. The 'Harts Ranges West' was located at the eastern end of the Harts Range district within the Arunta Block, a region of intensely metamorphosed sedimentary beds and volcanics (up to granulite facies). More recent metamorphism during Alice Springs Orogeny approximately 300 million years ago resulted in pegmatites and highly siliceous fluids intruding the surrounding gneiss and amphibolites rocks. This lease covered 10 blocks (31 km2) Exploration during the life of the tenement included reconnaissance field trips, field mapping and sample analysis. After the work on this site, it was deemed that there was not enough good quality pegmatite and amphibole on the site to warrant the holding or future renewal of the exploration lease. Our resources would be put to much better use on other projects.
