Annual report for MLN 813 from 1997 to 2010 Bynoe tantalite project

Abstract

MLN 813 was first acquired by Corporate Developments Limited (CDL) on 7th July, 1997 (who purchased the tenement from Mrs Valerie B Bilato). At that time of the transfer the MLN had been granted until 31st December, 2002. Corporate Development Limited reapplied and was given a 20 year renewal which ends on 31st December, 2022. MLN 813 is one tenement of a group comprising the Bynoe tantalite project which was held by Corporate Developments Pty Ltd (now Australia New Zealand Resources Corporation Pty Ltd (ANZ Res)). In 2001, Julia Corporation Ltd farmed into the current project areas held under MCN or MLN title by Corporate Developments/Softwood Plantations (including this one) expending $556,752.00 before withdrawing in 2002. Applications have been made over time to the Department of Lands to freehold Term Crown Leases at Leviathin Creek owned by Corporate Developments (now ANZ Res) to enable the establishment of a process plant to treat the ore from various deposits, but no approval has been received. Since then there has been minimal work on this tenement.
