Ewan Edward Project Surrender report 10 February 2004 to 9 February 2010 EL 23897

Abstract

This surrender report details exploration undertaken within EL 23897 during the six year period from 10th February 2004 and 9 February 2010. The tenement group is in the Tennant Creek Mineral field and is prospective for epigenetic structurally controlled iron oxide, gold, copper mineralization. Exploration activities completed during the life of EL 23897 include: Data Compilation; Ground Magnetics Survey; Ground Gravity Survey; Reverse Circulation Drilling; 1:20 000 Mapping; and Rotary Air Blast Drilling at Hera. Exploration by Truscott Mining has confirmed the presence of favourable geological and structural settings prospective for Tennant Creek style low-magnetic quartz hematite hosted gold mineralization within the Ewan Edward group of tenements. Following interpretation of detailed ground gravity and ground magnetic survey data by consulting geophysicists and integration of these results with drilling and geological data, planning of a program of further mapping, surface geophysics and drilling at various localities is recommended. Several geophysical targets (TRT1 to TRT9) are still to be tested. Holes are recommended to test modelled bodies to depths of up to two hundred and fifty metres depth. Precise co-ordinates depend on gravity and geochemical interpretation. Approximately 10-12 holes are recommended within an area of 250m radius adjoining the existing drill coverage. Additional drilling should follow, depending on results of the initial program. If warranted, deeper diamond drilling of this zone should be undertaken. A number of additional aeromagnetic/structural/gravity targets should also to be tested with shallow drilling.
