Annual report Year 9 EL 26206 Mainoru Lead-Zinc Prospect for the period 19 March 2016 to 18 March 2017

Abstract

This Annual Report outlines exploration activities undertaken by Merlin Diamonds Limited (MDL) and Top End Minerals Limited (Top End) on EL 26206 between the 19th March 2016 and 18th March 2017. This period represents Year Nine of the License. In early September 2015, the company received AAPA Authority Certificate. The Authority Certificate defined nine 'Restricted Works Areas' (RWA) where 'no person shall enter or no work shall take place or no damage shall occur'. The RWA6 almost completely overlaps the area mapped by the 2013 ground gravity survey and subsequently sampled for MMI geochemical analysis in June and August 2015. Upon receiving the unfavourable AAPA Authority Certificate company suspended further work on the tenement. During the reporting period, Merlin has made contact with the representative of the Traditional Owners seeking a meeting to discuss access to the tenement and has applied for grant of 'Variation to the AAPA Authority Certificate'.
