dc.description.abstract | Work undertaken for the year ending 8 February 2009 within EL 22856 targeted Frances Creek style hydrothermal haematite mineralisation and comprised: One RC hole drilled in the Elizabeth Marion deposit, for 90 metres, which intercepted weak mineralisation and brecciated proto-ore; Field mapping by structural geologists from CSA Australia to identify geological structures likely to host iron mineralisation, including rock-chipping and assaying of prospective outcrops; and Field inspections of sporadic manganiferrous iron deposits north of the Elizabeth Marion deposit, with surface enrichment yielding rock-chip values up to 41.8% manganese (Mn). | en_US |
