Work on EL 25136 has consisted mainly of systematic tracing and sampling of the Mt Deane Volcanic Member that had returned anomalous nickel values in 2008. 99 rock chip samples have been collected during the year with additional high metal values being obtained. Even with the limited number of assays reported in this annual report it is clear the target Mt Deane Volcanic Member of the Wildman Siltstone remains a highly prospective stratigraphic unit with potential to host volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralisation. With additional work including interpretation of the geochemical data being accumulated it may be shown that the Mt Deane volcanics are intimately related to the base metal mineralisation in the Rum Jungle Embayment, specifically the Browns Cu, Pb, Zn, Co, Ni, Ag deposit and similar deposits at Mt Fitch, Area 55 and others.en_US
