Annual and final technical report 1 January to 31 December 2018 for MLN 276 Mary River

Abstract

Boral Resources (Qld) Pty Limited (Boral) has developed this Final and Annual Report to satisfy the reporting requirements under Section 94(1) of the Mineral Titles Act 2010 and Regulation 86(3) of the Mineral Titles Regulations. Mineral Lease (Northern) 276 (MLN 276 or the Title) was granted to Boral Resources (Qld) Pty Limited (Boral) on 17 October 1975 for a period of 21 years. A renewal application for the title was lodged with the Department of Primary Industry and Resources (DPIR) on 29 September 1995 and the title was renewed for a further period of 21 years, with an expiry date of 31 December 2016. On 28 December 2016 Boral lodged a renewal application for the Title. DPIR assessment of the application for renewal was placed on hold due to number of environmental related and other matters that had the potential to adversely affect any proposed operations for the Title. Subsequently, on 1 March 2018 Boral lodged application for surrender of the Title, and in a letter dated 14 March 2018, the DPIR informed Boral that surrender of the Title was accepted on 6 March 2018.
