EL 25561 Old Crossing annual report for the year ended 14 October 2008

Abstract

EL 25561 is strategically located adjacent to current operations (Browns Oxide) and a number of ongoing feasibility studies at Area 55, Mt Fitch Cu and Browns Sulphide. Compass Resources is currently reviewing all polymetallic and uranium potential of the district and EL 25561 forms part of the exploration program for future mine development. During the first reporting year of EL 25561, Compass conducted initial data compilation and has flown digital aerial photography in order to compile a detailed base for future exploration activities. Access to the tenement was restricted due to an exclusion zone and sensitive landowners managing a nature reserve. Communications are progressing with plans to conduct low impact geological mapping in Year 2. Initial data compilation consisting of regional datasets such as geophysics & mineral occurrences has been achieved. Detailed historical exploration activities are currently being complied. The area was also flown with 1:5000 scale digital aerial photography which is currently being processed. Access to the tenement was restricted due to an exclusion zone and sensitive landowners managing a nature reserve.
