Exploration Licences 5889 and 23472 combined annual report Birrindudu Project

Abstract

No exploration was conducted during the reporting period. Although a significant RAB drilling program was completed in the previous year (ending December 2006), exploration activities during the most recent year of tenure comprised regional geological reinterpretation and target generation following the results of this program. No specific targets were identified on EL 23472 however un-tested Tanami Group metasediments are interpreted to underlie shallow transported cover. Exploration field programs were reduced during 2007 due to problems with the commissioning of the Coyote Gold Project. These problems have being rectified during 2007 and full production has resumed, with revenue from production expected to fund ongoing exploration programs in the Northern Territory from 2008 onwards.
