Annual Report Mataranka Mineral Claim MCN 674

Abstract

MCN 674 was originally applied for as an area for plant and a camp. This claim contains approximately 600,000 tonnes of limestone. During the 2008 reporting year there were no quarrying activities within MCN 674. This tenement is situated on the Roper River some 300m east of a parcel of 7 adjoining Mineral claims which contain MCN 685. It is located approximately 28 kilometres from the town of Mataranka and accessed from the Elsey Station road 3 km north of the Roper Highway. This tenement his held as future limestone reserves for the supply of raw material used in the quicklime manufacturing operations at the plant located near the town of Mataranka. Normal monitoring for weeds and feral animals is carried out as well as regular inspections of datum and corner pegs.
