Annual report Kurundi Prospect EL 23937 and EL 24995, 13 February 2006 to 12 February 2007

Abstract

This report describes the work undertaken by Washington Resources Limited (WRL) in assessing the granted exploration licences, EL 23937 and EL 24995, located 110 km southeast of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. WRL has completed a literature search and compiled all available open file data on the tenement and surrounding areas. A field inspection together with the collection of a suite of surface rockchip samples and hand-held scintillometer readings was completed. Bedrock is commonly masked by alluvium and sheetwash and geophysical surveys and drilling will be required for effective evaluation. The Hill of Leaders prospect was shown to have potential for a bulk tonnage-low grade scheelite and wolframite resource. The Munadgee uranium prospect was inspected, the style of mineralisation noted and scintillometer readings taken. Anomalous scintillometer readings were also obtained at other locations within the EL's. Note that the report erroneously referred to EL 24995 as EL 24495 throughout.
