First annual and final report for EL 30825, Montejinni Copper Project, 21 January 2016 to 20 January 2017

Abstract

Mineral Exploration License (EL) 30825 was granted to Zero Group Resources Pty Ltd on January 21, 2016 for a term of 6 years. EL 30708 was granted earlier on September 3, 2015. Both are the first two EL's granted for the Montejinni Copper Project. EL 30825 is located 22 km south west of the Top Springs roadhouse. The tenement is comprised of 233 blocks that covers an area of approximately 765 square kilometres. During the year one reporting period, the work programme was restricted to office studies, information gathering, a short field trip and negotiating with stakeholders. A report was produced from a geological consultant during the reporting period that has heavily influenced the future exploration for the Montejinni Project. It was determined that although EL 30825 does require further field work and analysis, moneys to be spent on exploration are to be focused on EL 30708. Furthermore, it was established in Townsends petrographic/mineragraphic description, that the sample is not of a primary source therefore reinforcing the mineralisation theory from the X2M report.
