Mount Peake Project, Partial relinquishment report, 13 August 2009 to 6 June 2017 EL 27070

Abstract

Exploration Licence 27070 was granted to Enigma Mining Limited (Enigma) on 13 August 2009. Enigma is a wholly owned subsidiary of TNG Ltd. The licence forms part of TNG's Mount Peake Project Area together with EL 27069, EL 27941 and EL 29578. The Mount Peake region has been partially explored for a variety of commodities including uranium, gold, copper, iron ore, bauxite and diamonds. Recent activities in the Mount Peake area have largely been directed towards U, Au and Ni. Exploration carried out on EL 27070 during since grant in 2009 began on a regional scale. A full literature review was carried out on the historical data and a number of reviews of the current geophysical data were undertaken producing targets for further investigation. These targets have been retained for further work. A partial relinquishment from 28 to 14 blocks was completed in August 2013 and a subsequent reduction from 14 down to 7 blocks has been undertaken in June 2017.
